Breakfast Chef

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Breakfast Chef to join our team at our family-owned and run hotel. This part-time role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and is committed to preparing high-quality breakfasts in a calm and well-organised environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 

• Prepare and cook breakfast to a consistent high standard for hotel guests.
• Ensure all food preparation areas are kept clean, tidy and comply with food hygiene standards.
• Monitor stock levels and inform the relevant person of any shortages.
• Work efficiently to serve breakfast within set service times.
• Maintain clear communication with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
• Comply with all health and safety requirements in the kitchen.
• Use previous experience to manage multiple orders calmly and efficiently.

Position Details: 

• Part-Time Role: 20 hours per week.
• Work Schedule: 6:00am - 10:00am Tuesday - Saturday.

Flexibility:

• Adaptability to accommodate varying business needs is essential.

Remuneration:

• National Minimum Wage

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a breakfast chef or similar role is essential.
• Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Consistent and punctual, with a calm and methodical approach.
• Flexible and willing to adapt to varying levels of demand.
