Travel Information – Our Commitment To You – Covid-19 Update
We are not open to general public at the moment, but we are making accommodation available to ALL key workers and those on essential business travel.
We are closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organisation’s statements regarding coronavirus (COVID-19) and following guidelines from these agencies and the local health departments.
The wellbeing of our guests and associates is of paramount importance and we will update our policies to meet the Government advice.
As we endeavour to keep all guests and staff safe at all times we ask that everyone adheres to the two metre social distancing rules around the hotel and grounds. If you are unconfident about travelling or would like further guidance please talk to a member of staff who will provide you with the reassurance and information that you need to feel safe.
Our Cancellation Policy:
In response to changing marketplace conditions, The Stallingborough Grange Hotel will be committed to ensuring our customers experience and flexibility during these difficult times is paramount.
For guests with existing reservations for any future arrival date, including reservations with pre-paid rates that are typically more restrictive, we will allow full changes or cancellation without a charge up to 24 hours prior to arrival,* as long as the change or cancellation is made by June 30 2020. Please note that any changes to existing reservations will be subject to availability and any rate differences.
For guests making new reservations for any future arrival date, including reservations with pre-paid rates, between today and June 30, 2020, we will allow the reservation to be changed or cancelled at no charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled arrival date.* Please note that changes to the reservation will be subject to availability and any rate differences.
Please note that this policy does not apply to travel associated with a group booking. For guests with group reservations, please review the booking rate rules and contact the group organiser for more information.
Our Commitment to Cleanliness:
To ensure our guests safety and to eliminate the risk of cross contamination, all rooms have been deeply cleaned and sanitised thoroughly ready for your arrival. Once you have checked in your room, room service will be available upon request. Please ask reception should you require towel/linen changes and beverage top-ups.
Surface Areas: In public spaces, the hotel has added to it’s already rigorous cleaning protocols, requiring that surfaces are disinfected and cleaned frequently throughout the day. We have provided a sanitising station in our reception alongside hygiene masks and disinfecting wipes.
Guest Contact: To help alleviate the risk of COVID-19 transmission through person-to-person contact, we will be using signage in its lobbies to remind guests to maintain social distancing protocols and will remove or re-arrange furniture to allow more space for distancing. You’ll see more hand sanitising stations around our hotel – near the entrances and front desks.
In addition, you can choose to use your phone to make special requests and order room service that will be specially packaged and delivered right to your door without contact.
Food Safety and Room Service: As we are unable to open the bar and restaurant at this time we have made the following changes to our food and beverage services:
Breakfast is available as a ‘grab and go’ option. This will be delivered in a takeaway bag and will include; juice, breakfast bar, pastry, yogurt and fresh fruit. This will be left outside your door at 7am unless you require this earlier.
Evening meals are available as room service only. A limited menu is available and must be ordered through reception. We will do our best to accommodate requests.
Payments: All rooms will usually be pre-paid – we would prefer for guests to pay by card at this time and encourage guests to use contactless payments where possible.
Should you require any assistance please contact the hotels main number on 01469 561302 and our duty manager will be more than happy to assist you.
We would like to thank you for your patience at this difficult time.
We will do our upmost best to continue to provide you with a home from home experience where possible.
“I have been staying at the Stallingborough Grange hotel as a Key Worker throughout April and May and all I can say is what fantastic efforts they have made to ensure guest experience is paramount throughout this tough time for the hospitality industry. Surfaces are cleaned regularly, their sanitising station is great and all staff have been exceptional at making me feel confident and safe whilst I have been away from my family. To all the duty managers at The Stallingborough Grange, thank you for your efforts during this difficult time.” John Parkinson, May 2020
